ENFORCEMENT - Revised Food Law Practice Guidance Published

Summary: The Food Standards Agency has published the revised Food Law Practice Guidance, which comes into force today.

The Guidance updates and replaces the previous Practice Guidance issued in October 2015.

The main changes to the Practice Guidance are summarised in the Annex to this letter [See list below], but primarily the Practice Guidance has been amended in the following ways:

Before the revision, the Food Standards Agency carried out a survey of the Food Hygiene Focus Group and the Food Standards and Labelling Focus Group on the content and structure of the Practice Guidance, and the opinions expressed were taken into consideration in the production of the guidance.
